The RS-R30I is a remote control application designed specifically for the ICOM Wideband Handy Receiver, the IC-R30. This application allows users to operate and adjust the receiver's settings using an iPhone or iPad, providing the capability to monitor settings conveniently.

Important Considerations:

• The RS-R30I does not ensure compatibility with all iPhone and iPad models. Functionality may vary based on OS version, installed applications, and device specifications.
• Users should verify that the IC-R30's Serial port function is configured to "CI-V (Echo Back OFF)" by navigating to [MENU] > Bluetooth Set > Data Device Set > Serialport Function.
• The application connects to the IC-R30 via Bluetooth LE, which facilitates slower data transfer rates. Consequently, users might experience a delay between receiver actions and display updates on the connected device. Additionally, performance may vary depending on the operational environment of the receiver.
• Bluetooth disconnections may occur under certain conditions, including:
  • The device screen being locked.
  • The application running in background mode.
  • Wi-Fi being active.
  • The connection or removal of a Bluetooth headset.
